1. Use of the App

• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
• You agree not to:
• Misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the App's functions.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the App.
• Use the App to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

2. User Accounts & Registration

• To access core features, you must create an account by providing your name, email, and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at support@spendsmartapp.com.

3. Family & Shared Accounts

• The App provides a Family / Roommate feature that allows multiple users to connect under one primary account.
• The primary account holder can invite other members by email.
• Connected members may view shared financial data, reports, and transactions.
• By joining a Family group, you consent to your financial data being visible to other members of that group.
• The primary account holder is responsible for managing invitations, removals, and permissions.

4. Permissions and Access

To function properly, the App may request access to:

• Camera – to scan bills, receipts, and invoices for expense/income extraction.
• Photo Library (Gallery) – to allow uploading images for expense entry.

Granting access is optional, but some features may be limited if denied.

5. Data Storage & Sync

• Your financial data may be stored in the cloud to allow syncing across devices and shared accounts.
• While we use encryption and industry best practices to secure your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

6. Financial Information Disclaimer

• Spend Smart is a tool to help you track and manage expenses and income.
• We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.
• Data shown in the App is based on user input or AI extraction from images and may not always be error-free.
• You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial records and using them for decision-making.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content, branding, software, and intellectual property within the App belong to Exypnos Technest Inc.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

• Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
• By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
• Loss of data, financial losses, or system issues related to the App.
• Inaccuracies in scanned or AI-generated data.

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Misuse the App in a way that harms other users or our services.

11. Updates & Changes

• We may update the App or these Terms from time to time.
• Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App or on our website.
• It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
